Nutmeg

Nutmeg is the kernel of the fruit of a tree that is native to India, Java and Sumatra. The red web-like outer layer of the nutmeg kernel is sold as mace and has a similar aroma. Like cinnamon, nutmeg is a warm fragrance that has uplifting and restorative qualities. It has a rich, sweet-spicy aroma with a somewhat woody note.
